About Chad

I grew up in Somerset and attended Somerset Area High School, where I graduated in 2004. I then attended Robert Morris University, where I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration for Management with a Minor in Legal Studies. While attending Robert Morris University, I played for the Division III Men’s Club Hockey team and studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland.

I attended law school at Albany Law School in Albany, New York. While attending law school, I worked as a law intern for the Family Violence Litigation Clinic through Albany Law School, which sparked my passion for family law and helping those in need. I graduated with a Juris Doctorate Degree in May 2012. Upon graduation, I took the Pennsylvania Bar Exam in July and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar later that year.

Prior to being admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, I was employed as a law clerk for Carolann A. Young & Associates and Silverman, Tokarsky, Forman & Hill, LLC (now Silverman, Tokarsky & Forman). After being admitted, I became an associate attorney at Silverman, Tokarsky & Forman. From July 2015 through May 2021, I was an associate attorney at Fike, Cascio & Boose. I then worked briefly with the Somerset County Public Defender’s Office and Leake, Snyder & Associates before opening my own practice in February 2022. By working for these great law offices, I received significant experience in several areas of law.

Currently, I reside in Somerset with my wife, dog, and cat. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I try to stay active by playing hockey, softball, and golf, running, and going to the gym. My wife and I enjoy traveling, which includes a trip or two to Disney World each year.

Throughout my years of practice, I attained a wealth of experience in multiple areas of the law, including family law (divorce, custody & support), estate planning, civil litigation, municipal law, and real estate. I am also trained in Collaborative Law.

My approach to practicing law focuses on being incredibly prepared and organized so my clients are placed in the best position possible at all stages of the legal process. I take pride in being approachable and empathetic because the legal process can be very demanding. I strive to develop a relationship with my clients that is transparent, informed, and relaxed.
